I think we can help you out here, and for your single axle Gulf Stream, because your leaf spring is an issue and you are concerned about rubbing, the best bet would be SumoSprings for trailers. These work as shocks, and what they do is stabilize the trailer and helps reduce the pressure on your leaf springs.

I love the SumoSpring kits and what they have to offer, but with the way your suspension was manufactured with that offset I don't see a way for any of the leaf spring suspension enhancement options to fit properly. You're very limited on suspension upgrades with a single axle on your 2020 Wolf Pup 16FQ. Since you're worried about suspension component failure, I would add the Dexter Heavy Duty Suspension Upgrade Kit for Single Axle Trailers # K71-358-00. This includes 1/2" thick steel shackle straps, wet bolts, and bronze bushings so you know the components will last. This is one of the best upgrades you can make on any trailer.

To pick out an axle you'd need to know the length of the axle from hub face to hub face as well as the distance between spring seat centers and the capacity of the axle.
For leaf springs you'd need to know the axle capacity and the current length of the springs.
For the hub that is also based on the axle capacity and the trailer wheel bolt pattern. Once you know the correct hub/drums you'd be able to find the correct brake assemblies. view full answer...

When replacing suspension components it's important to replace each component with matching sizes to keep the spacing right for the suspension to travel. You'll want to lift the trailer on one side by the frame and remove the wheels to get better access to the suspension and then you can measure each component based on the diagrams below. Sorry about your troubles, I would be worried about the other ones failing too. To replace the shackles and wet bolts you will want to use the MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit with either 2-1/4" Strap Kit item # MR46ZR or a 3-1/8" Strap Kit item # MR76ZR. You will need to measure the length of your current shackles and pick the kit closest to them.
As far as replacing your leaf springs and equalizers go there's no better time to do it if you're already replacing your shackles and wet bolts.... view full answer...

The etrailer 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 3,500-lb Trailer Axles # e54SR is the exact same as the SP-212275. Depending on the severity of the flatness the # e54SR could be the correct fit. You can try taking your tape measure and going from the hanger bolt over to the shackle strap bolt and see where 25-1/8" will have the shackle straps sit. With the springs flattened out the shackles straps should be sitting really close towards the center instead of forming a 'W' shape.

I recommend using the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs # AL57140 for the front of your 2004 Fleetwood Southwind 36E as opposed to the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TFFF53B. The Timbrens are nice because you don't have to maintain them after the installation but they tend to be pretty stiff and don't do as good of a job providing actual cushion to the ride quality.
